Lack of physical inactivity is a leading cause of disease in the Western word, with few adults meeting the government’s recommended target of 10000 steps per day. There is increasing interest in developing technology to motivate people to change their behaviour. This internship offers a real world opportunity to work with local government health care providers and charities to develop a socially useful mobile phone app.
