GDPR Candidate Agreement
This notice sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) is a new regulation which replaces the Data Protection Regulation (Directive 95/46/EC) The Regulation aims to harmonise data protection legislation across EU member states, enhancing privacy rights for individuals and providing a strict framework within which commercial organisations can legally operate.
Even though the UK has expressed its intention to leave the EU in March 2019, the GDPR will be applicable in the UK from 25th May 2018. The Government intends for the GDPR to continue in UK law post Brexit and has also introduced a Data Protection Bill to replace the current Data Protection Act in due course.
Your new rights under the GDPR are set out in this notice but will only apply once the GDPR becomes law on 25th May 2018.
Upon registering with e-Placement Scotland, your details will be stored in our cloud based database, Firefish for 5 years. After this period. You can choose to remain on our database or opt out and be removed from the system.
The data that e-Placement Scotland will store securely will include:
- Name
- Address
- Mobile
- e-mail address
- CV and any subsequent information relevant your placement search including salary and role expectations.
e-Placement Scotland will store your data in order to provide placement sourcing services to you, to match your details to the most suitable placement vacancies.
e-Placement Scotland will never share your information or data with any third party without your express permission. You must make us aware of any changes to this data so we can keep our records updated accordingly.
It is important to e-Placement Scotland that the information we store is accurate, at any stage, via accessing your candidate profile, you can update your personal details and preferences including to opt out at any time of marketing from us, this may include information on placement opportunities.
You can at any time request that your information be removed or deleted by contacting info@e-placementscotland.com
