The role

Drimify are looking for a talented Software Developer to join our team, who will be responsible for building all Drimify experiences, ensuring they are intuitive and beautiful.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Full-Stack Developer to join the platform team where you will be focused on back-end work 70% of the time, and front-end work roughly 30% of the time. We are looking for a candidate with strong back-end skills, particularly in PHP (frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony) and WordPress (working with Advanced Custom Fields – ACF).

Additionally, the candidate should possess solid front-end skills, including the ability to implement UI mockups and designs using CSS (native, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS). This role requires more than just the ability to work with pre-made templates, as custom development is a key aspect of the job. You will be working on the Drimify platform, integrating new experiences and features, as well as the Drimify dashboard. This role is perfect for someone confident in development work across the whole stack, who can work closely with our co-founder and CTO, and the existing Software Engineers and Product Teams.

Role Responsibilities:

• Confident and proficient in modern PHP 7+ development
• Experience with Laravel or Symfony
• Experience with WordPress including the ACF plugin
• Experience with GIT and Bitbucket
• Experience with RESTful API’s
• A good working knowledge of front-end build tools, including: npm, SASS
• Able to work with raw HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with project management tools (Jira) and web-based applications (Gmail, Google Docs, Dropbox…etc)
