Exterity wins British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVCA) Scotland Growth Award
We have been recognised at the Scottish round of the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVCA) annual awards, winning the 2019 Scotland Growth Management Team of the Year award. The BVCA Management Team Awards, produced in association with Grant Thornton UK LLP, is an annual showcase for the best businesses in the UK backed by private equity and venture capital. Exterity has been recognised for its executive leadership, impressive growth and global expansion.
Each year, 100s of companies compete across the country for the opportunity to be named as one the UK’s most outstanding teams, demonstrating the real impact members have on the national economy and society at large. All regional winners are then automatically entered into the national final, the results of which will be revealed at the BVCA Annual Gala Dinner, November 2019 in London.
Our award submission was backed by Shackleton Ventures, and the BVCA judging panel commented: “The management team, led by Colin Farquhar, Mike Allan and Simon Ross, have create a business that today is regarded as a leader in its field. Since its founding in 2001, it has experienced rapid growth, particularly over the last decade, which has seen Exterity growth revenue, profits and staff numbers. It has a truly global reach with office across the world, and its products are now deployed in over 50 countries.”
“We are absolutely delighted to be recognised by BVCA for our rapid growth in recent years. We are extremely proud of this achievement and is once again testament to our continued investment in R&D and in the best talent, and an endorsement of our strong partnership with investors like Shackleton Ventures, who have helped us turn our vision into a market-leading company.”
- Colin Farquhar, CEO at Exterity
