CAVU Aerospace is a manufacturer of satellite components, based in Stirling University Innovation Park. Our main products are Onboard Computers, Command & Data Handling and Thermal Control Unit for satellites. Our clients are space companies or agencies around the globe including NASA, Airbus, Embraer and Leicester space park.  

We have enough space & workstations to have students in following projects: 

A. Electronics: 
We have electronics workshop with clean room standards in Stirling office to design, assemble and test electronic boards for ongoing projects. Students can learn how to design electronic boards with Altium designer, working with ICs, designing PCB, assembly etc. 

B. Software: 
1.      Embedded systems: VHDL, Verilog programs for FPGAs 
2.      Python image processing. We have series of projects to receive high-resolution space data (30 cm resolution photo & SAR data) and process data for terrestrial applications like agriculture, biodiversity studies etc.

C. Marketing: 
We receive most of inquiries from space platforms & through our website. We always need to improve website contents to have better visibility in Google.
